So relaxing, just sitting out there, looking at the summit...

Thanks for posting -- and I just now figured out how the panos work (and I'm slightly embarassed to admit that).

What's that new building going to be?

I think it's a spa.
Very nice and you didn't even get your reflection in the door glass. This type of shot puts Mt. Washington about 20 miles away from the hotel. Do you use a big wide angle lens?

I wonder if they use compact fluorescents in all those fixtures?

I get my reflection out of the door by using a wireless remote.
The lens is an 8mm fisheye. It does put stuff far away, I find content very close to the camera works best. Here's an example (it's not too close to the camera, but there's details everywhere) http://www.kmembrydesign.com/monastery/5.html

LOL you wont have too much use for that 8mm then... you should see what the 15mm Canon does on my 5D... its amazing... slightly more than 2 shots for a 360 degree pano...
I have been intrigued by the 5D2... as I use my 5D MUCH more than my 1DM2 now... but I am actually considering a 50D or a 1DM3 and upgrading out of my current 1-series...
