I have been in the past. Not much use to me now. If you're climbing mountains over seas the insurance seems like a great deal.

I almost joined years ago, but didn't... thought it might be cool to get the journal. Anything worth reading that they send you?

The "Accidents in North America Mountaineering" is great to read, but I've never been a fan of the journal. Too many elitist stories about obscure 6,000 meter peaks in central China that I or nobody else will ever climb again.

You get hut discounts in CO, not much help for me though.
