I played hookie Tueday because a storm was coming it was the last day for bare ground/light snow cover at 3,000' in many areas around the White Mtns. I like to hunt for shed antlers and bull moose still holding antlers at this time of year. I visited a new ( for me ) area with lots of moose sign.

I saw four bulls. Three had dropped their antlers and one still held both. Here's one of the bulls who has dropped for the season.

Nice shot Patrick. I wonder if they feel relieved after they drop them with all that weight gone.
