This week it has been quite busy on the summit. We had an EduTrip up with us on Friday and Saturday and although the weather was not the best for photography it did clear for their trip down. Sunday however we had a different type of trip to the summit. It has been two years but the Germans are back. Three teachers and nine students arrived to the summit Sunday morning to start their week stay on the summit.

While they are here they will be conducting some cold weather experiments much like they have in the past. So far I have enjoyed trying to use what little German I can remember from High School but they are tolerant of my horrible attempts. I have learned how to ask where the bathroom is, and in my eyes this is one of the most important things to ask. Wo ist die toilette? They will not be the only Germans on the summit this winter. Group number two will be here later in February.

One highlight of their first day here was learning about the American game of football just in time for the Superbowl.
