For unknown reasons, the microwave radio connection from the summit to our Weather Discovery Center in North Conway is currently down. This link supplies those of us on the summit with access to the Internet which we use to send our observations to the National Weather Service and forecast, among many other things. That link is also responsible for allowing us to update these observer comments(I’m currently using my personal iPhone to write this update) and for supplying this website with current conditions on the summit as well as most of the webcam images. Our trusty IT observer, Mike, has been working dilligently to get the link back up, but until he is sucessfull, all of the aforementioned items will be unavailable on our website. The 36 hour summits outlook as well as the valley outlook are available in the mean time from our Weather Phone, which can be reached by calling 603-356-2137 and choosing option 1 from the automated system.Our apologies for any inconveniences this may cause our members and faithful website visitors. I know it is certainly no small inconvenience for those of us on the summit right now!
