Despite the winter storm, Thursday night’s special National Geographic event is going on as planned. The storm should be cleared up and gone mid-day, so we’re ready to go. Please join us!
Advance ticket sales for ‘An Evening with National Geographic Photojournalist Jose Azel’ will come to a close at 9:00 AM Thursday. If you don’t already have tickets, they will be available at the door for $20. Doors open at 6:30 PM with a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres, and the program begins at 7:30 PM. There will be a ton of door prizes, a raffle for a framed Brad Washburn image of the mountain, and everyone will go home with a copy of the magazine! Don’t miss your chance to look behind the scenes of the making of Mount Washington’s feature article in this month’s National Geographic Magazine! You will not be disappointed – Jose’s work is absolutely breathtaking.
The event is sponsored by L.L.Bean and takes place at the Attitash Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett, NH.
To build the excitement even more, take a look at this clip from North Conway’s RSN TV-16, where author Neil Shea talks with RSN Station Manager Chris Proulx and myself about the making of the article, how it came together and the work of Jose Azel.
Please join us for a remarkable evening!
