February 15 - February 16

We are excited to be a participating partner in a first-of-its-kind collaborative event hosted by Hiking Buddies and Barn Door Hostel. This two-day event will focus on winter safety, outdoor adventures, and community engagement, with opportunities to learn new skills, try winter camping safely, and engage with local vendors and leaders.

MWOBS Summit Operations Manager Mike Carmon will be a presenting speaker on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:00pm, highlighting weather and forecasting on Mount Washington. The Lions of Winter author Ty Gagne will also be discussing his new book during a fireside chat later in the evening.

Our team will also be tabling during the day on Saturday to share information and resources about the Observatory. We hope to see you!
