Tonight on the Rock-Pile we are honored to have our EMS and VASQUE BOOTS contest winner, Ted Teegarden, a teacher from the White Mountain School in Bethlehem, NH, here with us. Ted’s presence on the summit will not only be experienced at 6,288′, but also via a live connection with his class tonight at 6pm. Our connection tonight will give the Observatory another chance to inform students throughout the country about the tireless and important work happening on Mount Washington, as well as give Ted the opportunity to share his experience with his students.

Mount Washington Observatory, and I’m sure Ted as well, would love to give both Eastern Mountain Sports and Vasque Boots, two companies who help sponsor our work on the summit, a huge thank you for helping us share our work!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page for photos of the event and visit our Distance Learning page Distance Learning page if your school wants to bring Mount Washington to your classroom!
