Great Weather Weekend!

Not bad, but tomorrow will be better!
After a chilly and not-so nice start to the day today, skies have cleared and the forecast is looking pretty picture perfect. The next few days look to be some of the very best of the summer, with some much drier air settling into the region. The dry air should allow for some pretty spectacular views and likely fog-free conditions for the next 2 days or so. I’m personally hoping to see the ocean from the summit tomorrow morning to the southeast (75 miles), and also Mount Marcy in the Adirondacks (134 miles) if visibility is as perfect as it could be. It should also be very good hiking weather, with comfortable readings in the 70s in the valleys and 50s for the higher summits.
So if you’re going to be in the area, the next few days look to be about as good as it gets at the ‘Home of the World’s Worst Weather’, and I highly recommend visiting the summit! More inclement weather (and even snow) could always be just around the corner, so be sure to make the most of this weekend. Hope to see you on the summit!
