Another fabulous day!

What a beautiful weekend here on the summit! We had two days in a row of beautiful views and great weather (although all the visitors to the museum complained it was “too cold”). Due to the colder weather hats, gloves and sweatshirts were flying off the shelves!

On Sunday I was up bright and early to open the museum at 3:30am for the sunrise ride that the auto road hosted. It started off in the clouds but cleared up nicely for a decent sunrise. For some visitors getting up early must of been too much for them because when I walked up the stairs there were two visitors sleeping on the benches and snoring so loud! They ended up sleeping there for two hours!

After this long day I took a hike down to Lakes of the Clouds Hut with Peter the intern to hang out with the croo for a bit. We watched an awesome sunset and had a nice hike back to the summit. It was nice escape from the busy weekend at the museum!
