Good morning, (letting them know that I am about to start). The temperature currently on the summit is -2.9 degrees Fahrenheit……Yesterdays maximum temperature… -2 degrees… Yesterdays minimum temperature… -17 degrees…..the winds currently on the summit are west at 15MPH…. yesterdays peak gust west at 84 MPH… the wind chill factor currently on the summit is… -21 degrees…. There has been no precipitation in the previous 24 hours from midnight to midnight or from midnight to 7am….. The barometric pressure is at… 23.60 inches of mercury… And falling slowly…..For general ground conditions….. the weather currently on the summit is… mostly cloudy….. for ground conditions…. 9” of snow and ice……. and now for the vertical temperature profile….. The temperature at the summit is… -2.9 degrees….the temperature at 5300 feet is not available at this time…. For 4300 feet the temperature is …7.3degrees….. at 3300 feet the temperature is 7.7 degrees… the temperature at 2300 is ….6.3 degrees…. And the temperature at the base is 12.2 degrees…………… For the Summit Outlook….. Today… In the clear… under cloudy skies early….. Then becoming obscured by clouds with snow developing…highs….mid-single digits…wind west at15-30 MPH shifting southwest and increasing to 25-40 MPH… wind chill…15-25 below…. Tonight… in the clouds with a chance of snow…. Low… mid single digits…wind… west shifting north west at 15-30MPH…wind chill 10-20 below… Tomorrow… In and out of the clouds… with a clearing trend… highs… around 10 degrees… wind… northwest 20-35MPH… wind chill… 10-20 below.
