Calling all New Hampshire Educators!!!!
We are so excited to partner with the Discovery Education team for an amazing professional development opportunity. Join us to learn how Discovery Education Experience, paid through our partnership with the NHED, supports your instruction on weather, the climate, or even using data in the real world! You’ll also learn about the menu of education program offerings supported by Mount Washington Observatory, including school day, virtual, afterschool, and field trip programs. Educators will enjoy a demonstration of freely available curriculum and data resources that will aid locally-relevant, data-driven weather and climate investigations.
Bring your laptop so you can explore Discovery Education Experience while you go hands-on weather related science. This is a great opportunity to leverage an amazing NH resource in collaboration with an amazing classroom resource (DE Experience) that all NH schools can access for free… we hope you’ll join us! (there will be raffles…)
What better way to spend a morning than with hands-on experiments and exploration, then go explore North Conway and the mountains!
