My first experience de-icing in 80 mph winds
As Mike mentioned yesterday, I will be taking over the position of Staff Meteorologist for our shift. I am very excited for this new opportunity to continue to grow in this great organization, and look forward to settling into my new role. I’ve been privileged to work with some great people in what has already been about 8 months on the summit, and I’m optimistic about the future for both myself and the observatory.
To all of our members and fans, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thank you so much for your support and interest in our organization, we wouldn’t be able to continue our work without your generosity. Please consider becoming a member today if you haven’t already, or consider giving the gift of a membership during this holiday season and become a part of this remarkable place and the people behind it.
