Long Day

So it’s been an unusually long day for me. As Marty alluded to in the previous comment Mike went missing on Tuesday – OK he didn’t really go missing but rather had to see a dentist at short notice – ouch. So I’m doing a double shift and writing this in the wee hours whilst drinking lots and lots of coffee.
Thankfully Mike and Drew should both be back up later today for the remainder of our extended shift which will last through Saturday. As most of you probably know we usually do shift change on a Wednesday, however, this week we are staying up here for a few extra days. The plan is that both crews will work a shift lasting a week and a half and this way the rotations will be swapped and no one will have to spend two consecutive Thanksgivings, Christmases or New Years on the summit.
I’d just like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the upcoming AGM which will be held on June 12 at the AMC Highland Center in Crawford Notch, NH.
I really need another cup of coffee….
