Halloween Marty

Yawn!
Apparently those lazy observers have run out of ideas, so they’re making me(ow) write ANOTHER comment! Don’t they know I’m tired after a hectic day of surveying my mountaintop domain and just want to rest up? Oh well…
In case you haven’t guessed yet, this is Marty cat coming at you with some more thoughts from my perspective very near the ground.
As far as my observer and intern subjects up here, I really enjoy playing games with them. Mind games, that is! I still follow around the British observer in the mornings, using him to open doors for me. I’ve been snuggling with Mary Ellen, but only to make Stacey jealous. And I’ve roped Mike into translating yet another comment for me. It’s the purrrfect life!
Besides these usual fun antics, I have noticed some odd things going on up here in the past few days.
For one, there’s lots of chocolate and other sugary human treats floating around. Those observers and interns seem to be eating lots and lots of them (of course, I won’t touch the stuff. I have to maintain my perfect slim kitty figure). Don’t they know what will happen when you eat too much sugar?
Another strrrrrange thing…there’s a pumpkin in the living room. I didn’t see how it got there. It seemed to just appear on Wednesday. From my favorite spot on the couch, I have a great view of it. Why is it there? What are they going to do with it?
When the sun goes down, and I’m not in the mood for a nice cat nap, sometimes I’ll grace the observers with my feline presence in the living room while they watch a movie. I’ve noticed they’ve been watching lots of scary movies recently. Believe meow, I enjoy the occasional thriller (even if I am pretty unshakeable), but this is getting ridiculous! I’m not kitty-ing!
I’m not sure what it all means, but I’m pretty sure a black cat with my piercing eyes probably has no place in it all…right?
